These Carob Chip Cookies are the wholesome cousin of classic chocolate chip cookies—rich, comforting, and delicious, but without the caffeine that chocolate naturally contains. Carob brings its own warm, mellow sweetness, making these cookies perfect for anyone looking to enjoy a treat without stimulants. If you grew up loving chocolate chip cookies, you’ll find that carob offers a familiar nostalgia with a gentle, earthy twist.
For an even healthier version, be sure to check out the Carob Chip Cookies on our website under Desserts. That recipe is crafted with less sugar and healthier fats, making it a great option for those who prefer a lighter indulgence. This particular version, however, leans fully into the classic cookie experience—soft centers, crisp edges, and plenty of carob chips in every bite. It does contain a generous amount of sugar and butter, so diabetics and those watching their sugar intake may want to enjoy it sparingly or opt for the healthier version instead.
Still, when you’re in the mood for a true bakery-style cookie with a carob twist, this recipe hits the spot. Whether enjoyed with a glass of plant milk, shared with friends, or tucked into a lunchbox as a special treat, these cookies bring simple joy in every bite. Enjoy!
