Vegetarian Ranch Dressing

Well, who doesn't LOVE ranch dressing? I know I do. And many of us love it, too. So here is my simple, natural ranch-no dressing. This recipe has no dairy, no vinegar, no MSG - in short, no harmful ingredients. Instead of vinegar, it uses lemon as a preservative. Instead of dairy it uses soft tofu. And there is no harmful excitoxin that may cause your neurons to misfire. This recipe yields 2 cups. So enjoy and be healthy!

Ingredients:

1 pound Soft Tofu (or Silken)

2 Lemons, juiced, seeds removed

1/3 Cups Almond Milk (or) Soy Milk (or) Rice Milk

1 Tablespoon Dill Weed, dried

1 Tablespoon Garlic, minced (not shown)

1 teaspoon Basil, dried (or) 5/6 fresh Basil leaves (you can grow it in a plant window in your kitchen)

1 teaspoon Pepper Flakes, dried

1 teaspoon Onion Powder, dried

1 teaspoon Sea Salt (or) Pink Himalayan Salt

Directions:

1. Lay out your ingredients, cutting tools, and a container to store everything.

2. Put the tofu in the blender. Add the lemon juice, then the rest of the ingredients list into the blender.

3. Blend on highest setting.

4. Pour into container and save for up to two weeks in refrigerator.

5. You can eat it on carrots, cucumber slices, tomatoes, broccoli, salads and more!
